PROJECT NAME -  New Curling Rocks

Project Description:​

The 64 Curling Stones at the Arnprior Curling Club are over 50 years old and nearing their useful life expectancy. All 64 stones need to be replaced to improve the quality of the curling experience for the existing club members, future members and guests.​

The proceeds from this fundraising will be used for the following cause(s):​s

The proceeds from this fundraiser wil be used to purchase 64 new stones for the Arnprior Curling Club to enhance its member and guest experience of curling.​

Projected amount of money to be raised: $35,000

How this project will assist in promoting or developing amateur sport on a national level.

The new stones will help the Arnprior Curling Club continue to encourage and promote the sport of curling for all. We have a Try Curling Event, an active Learn to Curl Program, an active Youth Curling Program and Coaching Clinics, all of which prepares our new members to become part of our recreational and competitive leagues. 
We also Host several annual bonspiels, inter club leagues and regional spiels such as the Lady Tweedsmuir Regional Ladies Event along with OCA qualifiers.
